Nick Alexander has always had a knack for writing parody songs. But as a church musician and worship leader, he also authored some well-received praise choruses. He would only share his parodies in private.
Recently he attended a Catholic musicians conference, and while waiting for a sound check, he sang his religious parodies to those nearby. The response was overwhelming. Word of mouth spread, and he found himself playing these songes to larger crowds off-hours. He was told by unanimous consent to make a comedy CD.
Here is Nick’s first CD to emphasize his peculiar brand of humor. Nick desire to celebrate the Catholic faith using our omnipresent pop culture. If today’s rock stars dared to push the envelope with explicit faith-filled pronouncements, this would be the result.
