Saint John’s Abbey in Minnesota, founded by Bavarian Benedictine monks in the nineteenth century, has become a spiritual center focused on prayer, scholarship, and the liturgy. The Gregorian Chant Schola of Saint John’s Abbey presents in this new recording selections from the Graduale Romanum and Graduale Simplex for Mass, and the Antiphonale Monasticum and Liber Hymnariusfor the Divine Office, that honor Our Lady and her Divine Son.
