In Africa, a continent ravaged by the AIDS epidemic, a beautiful young doctor, Thandi Khumalo, works to ease the suffering of those fighting the silent killer. "The Silent Fall" shines a spotlight on the inadequate attention and resources applied to the HIV epidemic rampant throughout Africa. Personal, political, ethical, and spiritual dilemmas are portrayed in an intelligent manner. "The Silent Fall" shows the shame in excessive corporate profits gained through the suffering of others. Also, the need for individuals to work together to actively intervene to stop injustice is portrayed. This film is approved for ages 12 and older, as it confronts the stigma attached to HIV, as well as presenting a non-prejudiced view of inter-racial dating.
