Volume 1

Synopsis:

The Browns were a hard-working family, some born in Derry and some born in London. It was not an easy life, as was the case for many families at that time.

Through the following years Dana proceeded into politics and the family worked long and hard to help her achieve this goal.
Mrs. Brown was the hardest worker of all and during this time she decided that she wanted to share the true story of her life and the family she had nurtured. She decided to share it, as she stated, with – Warts and All
Behind the Brown Door
Unlocking the Life of the Brown Family Dynasty
Penned by Susan M. Stein (Brown)
Drawn from the reflections of Shelia Brown, beloved matriarch.

Dedication

To my beautiful mother who gave her entire life for the betterment of her family.
She was strong and fearless and the only thing she ever asked of me was that I would write her memories in book form, so that anyone who knew her, would know that anything is possible in life, no matter how bad a hand we may have been dealt, if we only have faith in God and the courage to keep our eyes on the goal post.
Thank you, Mammy; You were one of my greatest gifts and here now is Volume 1 of your story as promised.
May you rest in peace.

About the Author

Susan (Brown) Stein, the fourth child of Robert and Sheila Brown, undertook this writing at the continued request of her mother and her promise to her that she would fulfill her request which has taken many years due to ongoing family issues, including lawsuits.

Susan is proud and pleased to have completed Volume 1 of the project with an anticipated release of Volume 2 to be to be available on or before 2028.
