John Foley, S.J. is a liturgical and classical composer, theologian, liturgist and writer.
His early compositions as a member of the St. Louis Jesuits have become milestones of contemporary worship.
His music touches the entire assembly with expressions of prayer and devotion.
In 1993, John became director of the Center for Liturgy at Saint Louis University, a national think-tank for studying and teaching the liturgy.
He continues to lecture across the country on liturgy, liturgical music and the spirituality of liturgy.
