After a successful career as a classical vocalist, including a tenure with the Chicago Symphony Chorus and appearances with legends such as David Byrne of "Talking Heads", Mary felt called by Pope St. John Paul II's 1999 Letter to Artists.  TOTALLY CATHOLIC, Mary's Catholic children's recording, was born of this call.

As a Catholic Christian singer/songwriter, Mary especially enjoys writing for children.  She uses music as a teaching tool, entertaining while putting forth solid Catholic teaching. TOTALLY CATHOLIC was featured on a special edition of EWTN KIDS! and in an interview with Al Kresta, President and CEO of Ave Maria Radio and host of “Kresta in the Afternoon”, Al said of TOTALLY CATHOLIC, "It's one of the best things I've heard for kids".
