The Stations, or Way, of the Cross is one of the most beautiful devotions we can perform and, at the same time, one of the richest in blessings and indulgences. According to tradition, the Blessed Virgin Mary originated this devotion by often following the bloodstained footsteps of her Son to Calvary. She walked the path taken by Christ through Jerusalem, pausing at the spots marked by some special incident.
